Company Overview

Evergreen Semiconductor Materials is a worldwide leading distributor of ceramic packaging materials and Silicon Wafers for microelectronic IC assembly. We have access to materials from leading manufacturers including ITW, Kyocera, MEMC, NTK, SEH, and Williams to enable us to offer our customers the lowest prices, highest quality and best selection of semiconductor materials available in a department store environment.

Evergreen Semiconductor was founded by Meri Coleman in 1995. Ms Coleman received her B.A from Fresno State University in 1980 and teaching credential from San Jose State University in 1981. Her 5 years experience as a Senior Buyer of direct semiconductor materials for National Semiconductor’s world operations provided the knowledge and experience to be recruited by Materials Mart as the first employee of one of the first semiconductor broker companies. While at Materials Mart, she was involved in mergers with 2 other distributors, to becoming one of the largest semiconductor packaging distributors in the world. In 1993, she left to establish Silicon Valley Microelectronics in the ceramic materials division and eventually began brokering silicon wafers as well. She was the top salesperson until she left to form Evergreen Semiconductor Materials, as SVM began to phase out ceramic package sales.

Department Store Concept

We like to think of ourselves as small, knowledgeable departments within a large capacity store of semiconductor materials, working together to make your job easier. ESM is one large company divided into smaller departments to give you the expertise you deserve. Our Five departments consist of 1) Silicon Wafers and Wafer Services, 2) Ceramic Packages, TO Headers and Lids, 3) ESD Protective Packaging Materials, Sockets and Carriers, 4) IC Assembly Services, and 5) Overstock Management Services.
