Your company can save money by reusing your prime or test wafers over again, sometimes up to 3 or 4 times. Reclaim wafers are used prime and test wafers that have been stripped of all films and patterns and re-polished to remove scratches. ESM works directly with quality silicon companies to turn your used wafers into reusable silicon, guaranteeing a particle specification that meets your needs. All wafers go through an incoming sort, are stripped of films and lapped if necessary to cleanup any patterns or the backside. Prior to shipping back your wafers, they are sorted for thickness and only useable wafers with a good thickness will be returned. You pay only for the wafers that meet your specifications. By shipping us your used wafers on a monthly or quarterly basis, we reclaim and release them back in predetermined quantities every 4 weeks, thus keeping test material available for process engineers as needed.
